This large hospital and clinic operation with multiple facilities across three states has 12,000 employees. As the program administrator, our role encompasses all workers’ compensation insurance-related operations including underwriting, claims management, loss control/risk management, accounting and finance, reinsurance and excess insurance coordination, experience modification factor calculations, vendor actuarial services, regulatory compliance, claim reviews, and overall program management services. We also provide claims data analysis services to target frequency and/or severity issues. Various reports are provided on a monthly basis and as requested to keep the self-insured employer on top of their financials and in control of their program costs.
