The group was initially established as an alternative source of workers’ compensation for businesses in the land improvement industry but more recently has added supermarkets and other businesses.
As the program administrator, our role encompasses all workers’ compensation insurance-related operations including underwriting, claims management, loss control/risk management, accounting and finance, reinsurance and excess insurance coordination, experience modification factor calculations, vendor actuarial services, regulatory compliance, claim reviews, and overall program management services. We also provide claims data analysis services to target frequency and/or severity issues. Various reports are provided on a monthly basis and as requested to keep the Fund on top of their financials and program costs.
