Manufacturing Group Self-Insured

This group formed as an alternative source of workers’ compensation for manufacturing businesses including food production, creameries, metal fabrication, petroleum equipment and hide processing. As the program administrator, our role encompasses all workers’ compensation insurance-related operations including underwriting, claims management, loss control/risk management, accounting and finance, reinsurance and excess insurance coordination, experience modification factor calculations, vendor actuarial services, regulatory compliance, claim reviews, and overall program management services. We also provide claims data analysis services to target frequency and/or severity issues. Various reports are provided on a monthly basis and as requested to keep the group on top of their financials and program costs.
